To check carrier lock status on an iPhone, navigate toSettings > General > About > Carrier Lockto confirm it reads"No SIM restrictions."

When is the best time to install the eSIM?
We highly recommend installing the eSIM the day before departure while the smartphone is connected to a stable home Wi-Fi network.
The data plan and the validity countdown period will not activate until the smartphone physically connects to a local network.(Note: Travelers must scan and activate the provided QR code within 30 days of the original purchase date).
Some eSIMs work across multiple countries and activate as soon as you connect to any covered network. To check if yours has multi-country coverage,refer to your confirmation email, which will explicitly list all supported destinations.

Yes, data sharing and hotspot tethering are permitted. However, please note that hotspot data is subject to a daily Fair Usage Policy (FUP). Consequently, connected secondary devices may experience slower speeds.
Are there data caps or speed throttling on unlimited data eSIM?
There are no data caps, so you will stay continuously connected. However, to maintain network performance, a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies. If you reach the daily FUP threshold, your connection speed will temporarily drop to 1 Mbps for the rest of the day, but your internet will never be completely cut off.
How do I activate the eSIM upon arriving at the destination?
- Go to Settings > Cellular / Mobile Data.
- Turn ON the eSIM profile.
- Set this eSIM as your primary line for Cellular Data.
- Turn Data Roaming ON specifically for this eSIM.
Note: If you don't see a connection within two minutes, simply restart your phone.
Can I scan the eSIM QR code on multiple phones?
No. An eSIM QR code is strictly single-use and can only be downloaded onto one device. Once scanned, it cannot be transferred.
Important: If you experience connection issues, do not delete the eSIM profile from your settings. Deleting it permanently destroys the SIM token. Please contact our support team for help instead.
Can I make phone calls and texts?
No. An eSIM QR code is strictly single-use and can only be downloaded onto one unique smartphone. Once a user scans the QR code, the digital profile cannot be transferred to another device.
Crucial: Never delete the travel eSIM profile from the smartphone settings if connectivity issues occur; deleting the profile permanently destroys the digital SIM token. Please contact support instead.
Is it possible to turn on hotspot sharing my data?
If an activation email is lost, please contact our customer support team directly atsupport@eSIME.shop. For security and rapid verification,please email us using the exact email address used to place the original order.Even if you do not have your order number, our team can locate your account using that registered email address and instantly re-send the QR code.
Will installing the eSIM change a user's WhatsApp phone number?
No. Installing the eSIM will not affect a user's WhatsApp, FaceTime, iMessage, or social media accounts. The smartphone will continue to utilize the existing WhatsApp account profile, phone number, and chat history without requiring a data reset.
What should a user do if the eSIM displays "No Service" or fails to connect to local networks?
If the eSIM fails to connect to local networks upon arrival, please perform these three immediate troubleshooting steps:
- Verify Data Roaming Status: Confirm that Data Roaming is toggled ON inside the specific smartphone settings for the eSIM line.
- Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn ON airplane mode for ten seconds, then turn airplane mode OFF to force the smartphone hardware to search for the nearest network towers.
- Manual Network Selection: If automatic connection fails, navigate to the smartphone cellular network settings, disable "Automatic Network Selection," and manually select from the list of available network operators.
